History

The planning process for the Alliance officially began in September 2006. After an 18-month facilitated planning process, and with the initial support of JobsFirst NYC and The Clark Foundation, the Alliance became operational with the hiring of a director, Ms. Stacie Sanchez in March, 2009. The Alliance’s partner agencies combined represent over 30 years of effective service to the Sunset Park community, representing their collective commitment to Sunset Park and its residents.
